2025/2026 Season

The 25-26 season kicks off the with a special homecoming performance by Grammy-nominated artists and Shoals natives, The Secret Sisters. Lydia and Laura Rogers will fill Norton Auditorium with their signature blend of effortless harmonies and heartfelt Americana, backed by the full power of the Shoals Symphony at UNA.

Experience Gustav Holst’s The Planets, brought to life with stunning visual footage of our solar system. The program also features Sinfonia for Orbiting Spheres by Missy Mazzoli which captures the mystery and beauty of the celestial world.

Discover the brilliance of Igor Stravinsky in a casual setting. This program features a collection of the composer’s small-scale masterpieces, including Three Pieces for Clarinet performed by Dr. Meghan Merciers, The Five Fingers, and Suite Italienne. Experience the wit, innovation, and elegance of Stravinsky’s chamber music up close.

Celebrate the holiday season with a symphonic tribute to the music of our most beloved holiday films. The Shoals Symphony will bring to life iconic scores from favorites like Home Alone, It’s A Wonderful Life, Elf, The Polar Express, and more, each set to memorable moments from the films that have defined our most treasured holiday traditions.

In collaboration with Shoals Scholar Dollars, the Shoals Symphony is proud to present acclaimed vocalist Mandy Barnett. Known for her rich, soulful voice and remarkable vocal control, Barnett brings The Nashville Songbook to life—an enchanting tribute to the timeless country and pop standards that helped define the sound of Music City.

In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, Variations on America highlights American composers and their contributions to orchestral music.

Celebrate the music of Aaron Copland as Dr. Gretchen Windt performs selections from Twelve Poems of Emily Dickinson, alongside a variety of solo and ensemble works that showcase his uniquely American blend of lyricism, clarity, and spirit.

In April, we continue our Record Room Sessions series, where the Shoals Symphony partners with a local artist to present an intimate concert of their music. Wanda’s introspective and sensitive storytelling will pair beautifully with string accompaniment.

A cash bar will be available, and seating is limited to just 100 guests.

The action-packed adventure pits man against prehistoric predators in the ultimate battle for survival. Featuring visually stunning imagery and groundbreaking special effects, this epic film is sheer movie magic 65 million years in the making.

Now audiences can experience Jurassic Park as never before:  projected in HD with a full symphony orchestra performing John Williams’ iconic score live to picture.
